About me
Hello my name is Alan R. Izarraras Gómez, I am currently a last year phD student from Mexico doing research in the field of computational population genetics. Evolution and defining life in the broadest sense is one of my all time favourite things to ponder and theorize about.
I consider myself a mystic and I am constantly trying to reconcile the sense that there is something else out there, with current descriptions of reality; aka science vs spirituality. It turns out this a rare profile to have in academic science which is why I need an outlet like this to share my less othordox ideas, which I think are equally or even more important than the scientific ones.
I despise complexity and think hard to make things simple.
